Potential coping methods during mental duress

–Your mind is like a living organism which displays certain traits and ideals. If you do not acknowledge these traits and ideals within your mind, they will continue to operate in the background of the mind (the subconscious) and affect your thoughts and actions.

— Sometimes it is easier to make peace with and accept the mental state (IE stressed out) that you are in, than attempt to change this to a more preferable mental state (completely relaxed) as this can take extraneous energy. Wait out the the storm rather than bear it

— Taking note of potential triggers and developing coping methods in advance

— Instead of making desperate attempts to change mental states, start to develop an awareness, understanding of this each of your mental states to assist in coming to terms and controlling them better.
